So, today I did some more planting.
Lately I’ve been visiting friends and getting inspiration (and seedlings) of different edible plants.

As today was a day off, I got stuck into the garden. It’s Springtime where I live, and the trees are flowering. The garden was full of bees, ants, birds and promise.
This last weekend I went as a parent helper to a Cub Scout Camp with my eldest.
I was the only parent helper with the other 4 Scout Leaders. There were 30 kids!
What a Great weekend – I was really impressed by the organisation, the ability to keep the kids on track and the fun that everyone had.
Recently I was contacted to ask how to get out camping, without spending a lot of money.
Fair question! In my opinion – camping is more about getting out amongst nature, rather than spending a bucket load on a big fancy setup.
Start Small I say! Here’s some tips for starting out if you need to do it cheaply.
I’ve been asked before – where to camp near Brisbane?
So – here’s some place’s we’ve been as a family and why we like them!
I went to Agile Australia 2011
Stage 1:
getting there. I asked at work and knew they had limited places. I really wanted some colleagues because I knew how much the 2010 had affected me.
No real reason to share this but I thought I would anyway. Dreams:
In my dream last night I dreamed I was sitting at a picnic table on the beach foreshore with 3 friends.
Another of the boys favourites as winter comes closer is Baked Apples!
This one’s really good at camping too – in the camp oven.
A good friend of mine showed me a cool recipe.
Thanks to Maurice & Julie for the idea - here it is in pictures!
